Prevention of Unauthorized Transport of Ore in Opencast Mines Using Automatic Number Plate Recognition
Security in mining is a primary concern, which mainly affects the production cost. An efficiently detecting and deterring theft will maximize the profitability of any mining organization. Many illegal transportation cases were registered in spite of rules imposed by central and state governments under Section 23 (c) of MMDR Act 1957. Use of an automated checkpoint gate based on license plate recognition and biometric fingerprint system for vehicle tracking enhances the security in mines. The method was tested on the number plates with various considerations like clean number plates, clean fingerprints, dusty and faded number plates, dusty fingerprints, and number plates captured by varying distance. By considering all the above conditions the pictures were processed by ANPR and bio-metric fingerprint modules. Vehicle license number plate was captured using a digital camera and the captured RGB image was converted to grayscale image. Thresholding was done to remove unwanted areas from the grayscale image. The characters of the number plate were segmented using Gabor filter. A track-sector matrix was generated by considering the number of pixels in each region and was matched with existing template to identify the character. The fingerprint scans the finger and matches with the template created at the time of fingerprint registration at the machine. The micro-controller accepted the processed output in binary form from ANPR and bio-metric fingerprint system. The micro-controller processed the binary output and the checkpoint gate was closed/open based on the output provided by the microcontroller to motor driver
Ortho Linear Feedback Shift Register Cryptographic System
In this article, an encryption algorithm with an error detection technique is presented for highly secured reliable data transmission over unreliable communication channels. In this algorithm, an input data is mapped into orthogonal code first. After that the code is encrypted with the help of Linear Feedback Shift Register (LFSR). The technique has been successfully verified and synthesized using Xilinx by Spartan-3E FPGA. The results show that the error detection rate has been increased to 100% by proposed encryption scheme is effective and improves bandwidth efficiency
Formulation and evaluation of herbal hair serum-a review
In the mammalian system the hair follicle is known to the most significant organ that determine, appearance, gender distinction, provides intense temperature protection and plays a role in self-defence. The younger generations have begun to suffer extreme hair loss problem due to many reasons. The hair loss is not temporary in most cases. but it results in alopecia. Many people suffering from hair loss is in search of multiple treatments due to extreme anxiety and tension. To improve hair growth and to prevent hair loss, hair root activation is required. Citrus sinensis is used to antidandruff protection hair care. It’s had antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Nigella sativa improves the shine, strength, volume, and texture of hair. Flax seed is full of fatty acids and antioxidants that tend to remove pollutants and dead cells from the scalp. Coconut oil may help to moisturise and seal hair. They can help to prevent dry, flaky scalp and dandruff. This review article focuses on the materials required for the formulation of hair serum and various evaluation tests to evaluate hair serum
Systematic Analytical Approach to Correlation Functions of Resonances in Quantum Chaotic Scattering
We solve the problem of resonance statistics in systems with broken
time-reversal invariance by deriving the joint probability density of all
resonances in the framework of a random matrix approach and calculating
explicitly all n-point correlation functions in the complex plane. As a
by-product, we establish the Ginibre-like statistics of resonances for many
open channels. Our method is a combination of Itzykson-Zuber integration and a
variant of nonlinear model and can be applied when the use of
orthogonal polynomials is problematic.Comment: 4 pages, no figures. Misprints corrected, some details on

On the distribution of transmission eigenvalues in disordered wires
We solve the Dorokhov-Mello-Pereyra-Kumar equation which describes the
evolution of an ensamble of disordered wires of increasing length in the three
cases . The solution is obtained by mapping the problem in that of
a suitable Calogero-Sutherland model. In the case our solution is in
complete agreement with that recently found by Beenakker and Rejaei.Comment: 4 pages, Revtex, few comments added at the end of the pape
Exact Solution of Quantum Field Theory on Noncommutative Phase Spaces
We present the exact solution of a scalar field theory defined with
noncommuting position and momentum variables. The model describes charged
particles in a uniform magnetic field and with an interaction defined by the
Groenewold-Moyal star-product. Explicit results are presented for all Green's
functions in arbitrary even spacetime dimensionality. Various scaling limits of
the field theory are analysed non-perturbatively and the renormalizability of
each limit examined. A supersymmetric extension of the field theory is also
constructed in which the supersymmetry transformations are parametrized by
differential operators in an infinite-dimensional noncommutative algebra.Comment: 70 pages AMSTe
Classical Monopoles: Newton, NUT-space, gravomagnetic lensing and atomic spectra
Stimulated by a scholium in Newton's Principia we find some beautiful results
in classical mechanics which can be interpreted in terms of the orbits in the
field of a mass endowed with a gravomagnetic monopole. All the orbits lie on
cones! When the cones are slit open and flattened the orbits are exactly the
ellipses and hyperbolae that one would have obtained without the gravomagnetic
monopole.
The beauty and simplicity of these results has led us to explore the similar
problems in Atomic Physics when the nuclei have an added Dirac magnetic
monopole. These problems have been explored by others and we sketch the
derivations and give details of the predicted spectrum of monopolar hydrogen.
Finally we return to gravomagnetic monopoles in general relativity. We
explain why NUT space has a non-spherical metric although NUT space itself is
the spherical space-time of a mass with a gravomagnetic monopole. We
demonstrate that all geodesics in NUT space lie on cones and use this result to
study the gravitational lensing by bodies with gravomagnetic monopoles.
We remark that just as electromagnetism would have to be extended beyond
Maxwell's equations to allow for magnetic monopoles and their currents so
general relativity would have to be extended to allow torsion for general
distributions of gravomagnetic monopoles and their currents. Of course if
monopoles were never discovered then it would be a triumph for both Maxwellian
Electromagnetism and General Relativity as they stand!Comment: 39 pages, 9 figures and 2 tables available on request from the

Wall Crossing As Seen By Matrix Models
The number of BPS bound states of D-branes on a Calabi-Yau manifold depends
on two sets of data, the BPS charges and the stability conditions. For D0 and
D2-branes bound to a single D6-brane wrapping a Calabi-Yau 3-fold X, both are
naturally related to the Kahler moduli space M(X). We construct unitary
one-matrix models which count such BPS states for a class of toric Calabi-Yau
manifolds at infinite 't Hooft coupling. The matrix model for the BPS counting
on X turns out to give the topological string partition function for another
Calabi-Yau manifold Y, whose Kahler moduli space M(Y) contains two copies of
M(X), one related to the BPS charges and another to the stability conditions.
The two sets of data are unified in M(Y). The matrix models have a number of
other interesting features. They compute spectral curves and mirror maps
relevant to the remodeling conjecture. For finite 't Hooft coupling they give
rise to yet more general geometry \widetilde{Y} containing Y.Comment: 44 pages, 9 figures, published versio
